形態特徵

A large robust pubescent to glabrous perennial herb; roots thick, tuberous; stems 1–2 m high.
Leaves bipinnate, long-petiolate, triangular in outline, 25 cm long, 30 cm broad; petioles 25 cm long; pinnules tripartite, the upper surface glabrous, pubescent along the midrib and lateral nerves; cauline leaves reduced upward, the sheath widely inflattened.
Umbels large, compound; involucre linear, 1.5 cm long, the rays about 50; peduncles 4 cm long, spreading-ascending; umbellules 1 cm long, 1.5 cm in diameter; involucels linear, 2–4 mm long; calyx-teeth obsolete; petals oblong, entire, inflexed; stylopodium depressed entirely. Fruit very strongly compressed dorsally, 5 mm long, 3.5 mm broad, the apex rounded, the base cordate; the dorsal ribs filiform, the lateral ones broadly winged.
Vittae solitary in the interval, 2 on the commissure. Seeds dorsally compressed, the face plane.

分布

台灣 : Endemic. In the central mountains at 3000–3500 meters.
